Mixed Berry Smoothie

10th May 2018

Prep Time10 mins

Yields2 Servings
DifficultyBeginner

180 g frozen mixed berries (could use fresh berries as an alternative)
 100 g milk
 250 g natural yoghurt
 25 g clear / runny honey

1

Weigh the frozen fruit into a dish and place in the microwave on the defrost setting for around 5 mins. If at the end of this the fruit hasn’t fully defrosted I tend to leave it in there and turn it onto the regular heat setting for around 30-60 seconds.
(Obviously miss this step out if you are using fresh fruit).

2

Whilst your berries are defrosting weigh out the yoghurt, milk and honey into your blender.

3

Once the berries are fully defrosted add them into the blender and blend until you it’s a smooth mix. This should probably only take around 10-20 seconds depending on the blender.

4

Pour into glasses and enjoy!

I love to have this as a healthy breakfast and it helps motivate me for the day ahead.
