Prep Time10 minsCook Time15 minsTotal Time25 mins

Yields4 Servings

 150 g plain flour
 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
 Pinch of salt
 100 g unsalted butter
 80 g soft brown sugar
 1 large egg
 Dash of vanilla essence
115 g chocolate chips (I use dark chocolate)

1

Pre-heat the oven to 180°C Fan.

2

Mix the flour with the bicarbonate of soda and salt in a bowl.

3

Beat the butter and sugar together until creamy, then beat in the egg and vanilla essence.

4

Now, fold in the flour mixture. Once fully mixed together add the chocolate chips and then mix again.

5

Lightly grease the inside of the ramekins and then split the mixture evenly between the ramekin dishes. Using the back of a spoon gently smooth over the top of the mixture so that it's level.

6

Place in the oven for 15 minutes then enjoy! I personally add a scoop of ice-cream on top.
